There's been a lot of spam and crap posted on the forum lately, so my ban hammer is starting to wear out. In an effort to make it easier for those members who seem more focused on getting banned than contributing to our community, I have created this short guide to follow.
The members who want to get banned do the following:
- Constantly making low quality posts saying "thanks", "looks interesting, I'll try it later", "just downloaded it", "reading it now", "I'll look into this later when I have time", "thanks for the share!", etc....These are ALL examples of low quality posts that get removed as soon as I see them. You get a 50% warning the first time and banned after that.
You don't need to post that you plan to try something later. We don't need to know that you've downloaded something. We don't need to know you're reading a method. What we need to know is if the method WORKS. What we need to read is your REVIEW of the method. If you've read or downloaded a method, then don't tell us...instead, go try it and THEN come back to the thread letting us know how it worked for you OR ask a relevant question in the thread if you need further clarification about how it works.
- Do NOT post in a thread asking the same question as the member before you. If several people have already asked "Does this work?" and there has been no response from the OP, then there is no reason for you to post it again, as there will still be no answer.
- If you appreciate a share and like it, then show your appreciation and thanks by clicking the LIKE button in their post. Do NOT thank them without using the button!!
- If you post a download to share then include a VT virus scan with it.
- Don't use link shorteners. Our members need to know where they will land when clicking on a link.
- Don't use content lockers or anything that pays for clicking the link or downloading something. This isn't the forum for trying to make a few cents off the members. We FREELY share things here to HELP each other!! Use Zippyshare, Mediafire, etc.
- Don't spam us with your referral link. Any post with a ref link goes in the referral section, or put the link in your signature. Don't be a spammer!!!!!
- Be respectful to our members and we'll get along fine.
