HOW IS THIS EVEN POSSIBLE?

Okay, maybe this post will get a lot of attention because this is crazy.. Im sure a lot of you know this but I just found out.

I have a video ranking for a keyword. I do a little bit of SEO with ytmonster with views and such but this guy is almost outperforming me with JUST backlinks..

I mean he hasn't even optimized his video.

So I did some 'reverse-engineering' and found this shit!

The dude has a .gov backlink (very powerful) but it points to this page!

No where in his backlinks is there ever an embed or backlink to his youtube video!


Is he just buying cheap .gov backlinks and linking to his youtube video? Is this all you have to do to impact the ranking big time?
